    any vessel that had any ornament on it. He was very religious, and had a lot of hymns, and prayers by heart. When he was young he was as sane as anyone. They say this is what happened him.
    When the school at Coppeen was being built Dan was working as a labourer there. Dómhnal Crón - Coakley was his name - was the mason and there was a third man working there too. There is a fine lios near the school, "Cathair Má Gliar" it is called, and there are fine building stones in it. At the eastern side of the surrounding ditch there is a doorway built of regular stones, with a number of flags across the top forming a lintel. The workmen, and Dómhnal Crón came to the lios for stones for the school. When they were taking away with them a flag from over
