    while sailing on the "Cornubia" owned by Tom Driscoll. The ship struck Daunt's Rock a rock near the old head of Kinsale.
    Tom O'Driscoll's body was never found but the bodies of the two Fitzgeralds were found and they were buried in Timoleague Abbey.
    Their mother planted a yew tree over their grave. This tree is the emblem of sorrow.
