    leaving it to cool. The wicks were made from cotton thread plaited and put through a hole in the mould before the tallow is poured in.
    When the weavers used to work by night they used to have home made candles lighting.
    These candles were fitted into candle sticks with a little catch in them by which they used to be hung on the wall.
