    Mrs Donoghue's grandmother was dead.

Mrs. O'Donoghue's grandmother was dead. She had 4 sons away. The people at home had made a new house and had made a barn of the old house.
    Part of the "caoin" was:-
"Nuair a tháinigh tú go dtí an lios,
    Ní fheaca deatach i dtigh,
Ná ní fheaca na fir amuigh.
