    would live to see the grass growing on it. This happened seventy years later. Another prediction was to the effect that the erection of a big house near Kinsale would be started but would never be finished. A company began the building of a hotel planned to be one of the largest in Ireland, at Scilly. It was a huge structure but when the walls rose high enough to have the roof put on the work came to a sudden end. The reason for this was want of funds. The place where this ruin still stands is called Cham Locháin, and afterwards when any work was not prospering as well as it should people used say "It will be like Coumlockin.
