The other legend is that under this stone is buried an unknown treasure. This consists of gold. The old people will never dig for this, on account of the cross near being called "cros na phuca".
There is a man who is named Carthy in Ballyfoyle. On his land there is a big liss in which the Danes and giants have buried treasure. This consists of gold ornaments and money.
No one tries to get them because they are guarded by lights. - Long ago there was treasure supposed to be hidden in a rath near Carrigaline.
