- (continued from previous page)It is Saint John's well. People call it Rónógs well. It is on the side of a lane. People go there praying.
There are crosses worn into the ground around the well. When the people are praying they get a pointed stone and go round the well, where they see a cross made before them they make one on it. When people go praying there they put a medal, a holy picture, a Rosary-bead or a piece of rag on the stones around the well. There is a tree near it.- Collector
