- There is a story told of a white cow who came down the valley from the Bogra hills. No one claimed her. A woman milked her and she filled her pail, another milked her in a half hours time and she also filled her pail. The news spread and every poor person along the valley milked her and she filled every pail no matter how big.
She went along the valley from where the Dripsey rises by Barracharing and Killcullen. One day a woman milked her and she kicked the pail of milk and spilled it accidentally. The woman got vexed and she struck her with the stool she was sitting on. The cow disappeared that night and was never seen again and the place is still called Comer na bo Foinne.- Collector
