    rounds at the local blessed well and at the holy wells of the surrounding districts. They went to these wells on the feast days of the Saint connected with them, and made their requests for the cure of a complaint from which a member of the family might be suffering. Whenever such a request was granted other rounds were paid in thanksgiving.
