- DANDELION
The old people used Dandelion as a cure for the Liver.
In the Spring time they used the roots of the Dandelion and the leaves in the summer.
They drew the Dandelion like the people draw tea at present and drank it. CHICKEN-WEED
They used the chicken-weed for sprains or swellings.
They cut up the chicken weed and put some cream through it and put it to the sprain or swelling.
Another cure for a sprain was to hold it under a spout of water.WHOOPING-COUGH
Watch the first man you meet riding a white horse and say to him - "Man of the white horse give me a cure for the whooping cough."
