  1. (continued from previous page)
dead in the morning. He put down a bet with the owner of the house that he would sleep there. He got a bottle of whiskey and a warm fire from the man of the house. He was going to sleep, he heard a noise in the shop. He took no notice of it. He heard it again and he saw a man dressed in white. He told him to come up to the fire and to drink with him and he did so. Domhnall was going to sleep when the white man attacked him. He got a fright
In the morning the white man told him that there was money in the shop. Domhnall went down in the shop and he found a barrel of gold in the shop and he came home to Ireland and he had a good spree
