    will get for doing them we will divide evenly between us. We will get up early in the morning and one of us will go north and the other south and any of us must not look back at the other. There is a sgiath of potatoes in the bottom of the house and I will make a rat of Joan (his wife) and she will have enough to eat until we return on the 25th of July* and there will be plenty of potatoes and work for us then. Where ever you go be sure to return on that day. The wife ran out the door and she said she would not make any rat of herself. They got up in the morning as arranged. The apprentice went on until he came to Listowel and he got work there. About the 20th of July a big circus came into Listowel. There were three performances to be held in it
