    A first class boy who passed in all subjects got 1/6
    A second class boy got 2/6
    A third class boy got 3/6
    A fourth class boy got 5/-
    A fifth class boy got 7/6
    A sixth class boy got 10/-
    A boy should be 90 days in school before he was allowed to stand for an Examination.
    In Knocknagree school the masters used to get a boy to personate others who were away and who had not the days made in order to get money. They were reported and all results were kept and the quarter salaries. The master lost over a hundred pounds. Note:- Tadgh "Stail" taught
