    I paid a visit to Mrs. Mary Bohan (Senior) Nohoval Upper Knocknagree.

    from the bed - they were gathered into one heap and taken from the room after the coffin was removed.
    3. She added New Year's Day and Sundays and Good Friday as days on which graves were not opened.
    4. When a person was in 'his last agony' all the family and relations were sent out of the room because the people believed that the disease would attack the blood of the relatives at that moment.
    5. When no member of the family or no relative was present the disease went to the roof and disappeared.
    6. When taking graves people never took more than one grave and sometimes they might take two but they would never (under any condition) take three. They believed that if they took three they would be filled in a short time.
    7. The family cried, sometimes, over the corpse before it was washed and when a relative or some good friend came to the wake they all cried together again. This happened several times during the day and night.
