- In my district there are many peculiar names and even in our farm there are many of them for example the name of one of our fields is "Paircin na Locta"
It is called so because a man was mowing hay there with a scythe one day and there was a fort at one end of it. While he was at dinner on returning to the field how much surprised he was to see no hay but instead the field was covered with stones and in the midst of them there was a man picking them into a horse and cart.
