- Home Made ToysWhen I was going to school there were no shops, yet toys were to be seen in many homes, especially during the winter months. At time boys and girls were skilled in making articles of this nature, but when toys were to be had in the shops for money later on, this useful pastime gradually ceased and eventually died out altogether.
