One day a farmer went to see how the work was done and great was his surprise to find that the cabbage rows were not in parallel straight lines. "Why did you not get a line Shawn when you were putting down the plants?
Don't you see the rows are crooked?
"They will grow as well in a crooked row as well in a straight one".
This excuse on Shawn's part gave rise to the saying:
