- In 1937 there was a man and a woman killed by their own bull.
Their names were Mr Michael Murphy and Mrs Murphy of Knockardbane. The man went to leave out the bull about seven o'clock at night. The bull made a drive at the man and knocked him. The woman went to save the man with a pike, but he broke the pike. He killed the man and the woman was taken to hospital. The woman lived for four weeks and she died in the end of the fourth week and she was buried in Kilcorcoran and he was buried in Kiskeam.- Collector
