    All the foregoing folklore and historical matter was collected by me prior to 1930 from Matt Murphy, Milford, Rath Luirc. He was then over 80 years. He is now dead (R. I. P.). I expect it is fairly authentic, as he was an intelligent educated man who actually devoured history.
