“There are many methods employed to catch wild animals and birds.”
There are many methods employed to catch wild animals and birds.
Rabbits are usually caught in snares. They are made in this manner. A suitable length of wire, that is about a foot and a half long is cut from the coil. About six of these strands are put in the moderate snare. Then it is twisted, pegged and corded and is ready for use. Then it it is set in a good path and when the rabbit comes on, he either falls the snare or gets caught.- Collector
