He was afamous "45" player. A remarkable thing about "Con the Nailer" was that he could read printed matter but could make no attempt to read handwriting. He died about 40 years ago and was the last Nailer in this district. - Con Duggan of Ballyclough was a nailer by trade. He started at the age of twelve years, and he succeded his father. He made the nails with rod-iron. It was heavy iron for the strong nails and light iron for the light nails. The names of the nails were(continues on next page)
