  1. Dick Barry better known as Dickeen the dogs lived around Ballyclough all his life. He usually slept out in the summertime and when the weather got bad he slept in outhouses with a couple of dogs. He was a familiar figure at the local hunt wearing a rod coat and velvet cat of low stature he looked a real huntsman. He derived his living from selling dogs and the gentlemen stood well to him.
