  1. There is one of the Roche's castles at Carrigabrick, Fermoy, Co. Cork. There is supposed to be gold hidden there. One time people tried to dig it but they could not, because there is a big flag over the place where the gold is in the ground. One side of the castle has been knocked down. It is said that Cromwell blew it down. The castle is built on a high wall near the viaduct over the river Blackwater. The castle is about seventy feet over the river.
