    called him the champion hurler. He was a favourite with everybody in his district and with those who were hurling with him. The people who were looking on when the team in which he was playing would say he was worth all of them together.
    One day it happened that he and his chums were playing a big hurling match and he met with an accident from one of his companions. That very day the result of it was the cause of his death. All of his chums were very sorry after him and they gave up the game ever after. It was remembered for a long time by the people afterwards about the death of the famous hurler.
