    school in Louvain he got into difficulties over money and Stephen Coppinger loaned him some money. Cromwell did not forget this kind deed and he withdrew his troops. The hole in the castle from Cromwells shot can still be seen. Mr Coppinger told my father that there was an underground passage from the castle and that it ended near Mr. Aherne's about one quarter of a mile outside the castle. I did not hear of people being foully put to death in the castle but there is a murdering hole in it.
