The people got seed potatoes from America. The people used eat whole meal and grass. They used build roads, and they were called the public works. There was a road built from Carrigtwohill bridge to Tattons bridge, and there was another road from Pigeonhill to Ballincurrig. There were three million people died. There were several diseases after the famine.
