Two men out late one night saw a light in a certain house. They stole over to a window which was shuttered on the inside but about an inch apart. They saw an old woman sitting down in the middle of the kitchen milking two ropes from the joist of the loft. She got as good a supply out of the ropes as the would ever get from a cow.
