When he reached Leadington hill coming home he fell asleep again and the dog cared him all night and next day All the people were going to Mass next day the dog would not let any one go near him to wake him up. When he woke he came home and the dog was delighted and he used to jump up on him and fall him. When he came home he told my grandfather all about the dog.

   The juice of a plant called dandelion which grows in the field and by the roadside is drank to purify the blood. Salt and water is used for stripped feet by damping the salt in water and rubbing on the affected part. A person whose father died before he was born could cure the thrush by blowing his breath on the child's mouth while fasting on three successive mornings. Wheat burnt on a shovel or on hot irons is used to cure Ring worm by poulticing it on to the affected part. Wild Tansie is also used to cure warts by rubbing it to
