  2. To meet a red haired in the morning is a sign of bad luck. To find a horse shoe on the road and to spit on it and to throw it in over the ditch the person will have luck. If a person meets a magpie on the road in the morning is a sign of good luck; to meet two is a sign of bad luck; to meet three is a sign of a wedding; to meet four is a sign of joy; to meet five is a sign of a funeral; to meet six is a sign to die; to meet seven is a sign of a birth.
