With tempting bribes and spies not few
    Leamlara once was haunted
To faith and county ever true
    A Standish neer was daunted
The rustic Bridge now marks the spot
Where once the great De Barra
One evening fair on his Black Mare
    Leaped clear, into Leamlara
The foregoing poem is written in praise of The Barrys of Leamlara
    Note:-
I'd respectfully ask you to ask Martin Corry T.D. if this poem of praise is deserved
