  1. In olden times there was a grave-yard in front of Rostellan castle. There was a stone in the grave-yard and it used to be taken several times from its place and thrown into the sea and brought back again.
    The people that lived in the castle at that time sent the stone to Ballycotton. It was thrown out into the middle of the sea but was seen again next morning in the grave-yard.
