    In the parish of Cloyne there are four graveyards...

    (continued from previous page)
    are a few slabs there to mark the burial place of some local families. The graveyards of which I mention are in very bad condition full of weed and grass it is very seldom cut. The unbaptized children were buried in the corners of the graveyard and they should be buried after sundown. There are coloured men buried in the southwest corner of Churchtown graveyard. Those men were wrecked of the ship "Colleen" in Ballytrasna west of of Ballycotton. There are a couple of graves in the church ruin.
