  1. (continued from previous page)
As it flows by Gleann Corbraighe
    So far, far, away.
    I strolled down the lane,
To a spot that was home,
    And the roses still bloom,
As they do round the globe.
Till at last I met someone,
    Who called me by name,
    And sure tis a joy,
    To be with them again.
I could see that old schoolhouse,
    On the road to Athea,
A few miles from Gleann Corbraighe,
    So far, far, away.
