    That strayed to Rooska Hill.
    I then arose and did propose.
    And that with right good will.
    Saying, "Home with me a stor mo chroi.
    To-night to Rooska Hill.

    For I am waiting here for Willie dear.
    The boy I do love best.
    I'll meet him yet.
    About sun-set.
    Or by a portlong rill.
    We both will walk around the lawn.
