  1. In the Feale there are a few fords and one is called Peggy's Ford. Its name originated from a woman named Peggie that lived there during the Land League Times and got evicted from her house. Polìn Dearg is another ford that got its name from a Doody man. One hot day in Summer he went for a swim. Not being a good swimmer & on going beyond hid depth, he was drowned.
