  1. There were many landlords in Feenagh at different times, and their names were LLyod, Colonel White, Furlong and Walker. The name of the last one was William Scanlon who lived about fifty five years ago. He treated the tenants very badly and many small land-holders were evicted from time to time. Many of these evicted tenants went to the workhouse and more went looking for alms.
