  1. One night a man was going from Dromcollogher to Limerick with a horse load of goods. When he was about half-way, the night got very wet. He knocked at a door, and as hed for shelter. The door was opened, and he entered. He lit his pipe at the fire. Young and old people were inside, and they were singing and dancing. After about an hour he went out. Other people from Dromcollogher were coming on, and he waited for them. When they met, they had dug up Some of the green outside the house. When they were coming back, they saw no house, only a fort.
