    their dead as also did the Ormsbys before them. The Colls who were Catholics had this "up their sleeve" and as the Gubbinses couldn't pay the debt the Colls took over Maidstown by force. However the Protestant church made up the money for Gubbins and he came back to Maidstown with a force of men to get it again. The Colls wouldn't leave and there was a severe skirmish, but the Colls won and have kept Maidstown since.
