  1. Goats milk is a good cure for consumption. Jeye's Fluid is a good cure for a toothache. If a person had blood poison on her hand or foot a cure for it is to wash it in hot water and salt. If a person had the falling sickness he would be cured by leaving his own country, and crossing the ocean. A fright would also cure it. A band tied around the head would cure a headache. The cure for a bad stomach is to boil the juice of a Dandelion in milk and to drink it. A cure for a soar throat is to let the nails of your fingers grow to be eight inches long and eat them and you would be cured. Nettles were used to cure rheumatism. A cure for Thrush is to get a child that never saw his father to blow his breath three times in to his mouth.
