  1. These twelve Moats are situated in Glenbrohane parish. The Moat of the Brohan's (Doonglara) is one of the largest in Ireland. There is a tradition that a moat between the Moat of the Brohan's and Condon's moat disappeared. It's not possible at present to trace its position.
