    A child born after father's death cures sore mouth by breathing on it
    Ringworm. Write name with pen and black ink several times around it.
    Whitlow - Thrust tip of finger into boiling potato water several times. This relieves the pain and causes the swelling to "break."
    Scurvey. Juice of birch bark applied at night
    Pain in Child's ear. Keep blowing warm breath into it and this soothes the infant.
    For cold in chest - sprinkle blue sugar bag paper with whiskey and keep over chest. Or swallow large spoon of paraffin oil. Or mix drops of turpentine in lump of sugar swallowed.
    Sleeplessness. Boiled onion in milk taken going to bed.
    Eczema (infantile) spoon of bread soda to every pint of water in Child's bath.
    Bile:- Spoon of the bread-soda in cup of water gives instant relief.
    Boils:- Thrust red hot needle through centre of them.
    Decayed rafter crushed finely or ground starch was to ohly baby powder.
