    Adieu to home and kindred now,
    In foreign climes I'm doomed to dwell
    And grief hangs heavy on my brow
    Farewell my dear companions all
    Too bold to flinch, too proud to fall
    Farewell each humble cot and Hall
    That scatter o'er beloved Cullane.
