    One night I slept in a haunted room in the town of Clonmel.

    One night I slept in a haunted room in the town of Clonmel. I happened to go to the fair of Clonmel with a splendid colt and I left Anglesboro' the day before and as I usually did business with a man called Morrissey who lived in Rutland Street I called on him to get a bed for the night and to get a stable for my colt. It happened that all the beds were engaged but I was lucky to get a very comfortable stable for my horse and then the good woman of the house said she'd be only too glad to get a bed across the street for me. I thanked her and then she invited me in to a hearty good supper. After the supper I went across to the house where I was to sleep for the night. It happened to be a publichouse and I sat down and
