  1. Ther was a stone bridge in Knockaney till a few years ago. It was blown up by the County Council's orders. It is said tha Aine Gleere brought the flags of it and put them there. It was one of the oldest bridges in Ireland. The people that blew it up said they saw a vison of Aine Gleere. When the new bridge was put up it was said the the first man to walk on it would die. The son of a man who built it was the first to walk on it and he died.
