    Cure for Warts
    There is a pool in my father's field in Shanacloone in the parish of Cappamore. the water of this pool cures warts.
    Cure for Sore Throat
    Honey is mixed with Glycerine and given to the sufferer.
    Cure for the Mumps
    Rub camphorated oil under the ears.
    Cure for Sore Eyes
    Wash them in cold tea, uncoloured and unsweetened.
    Cure for Sore Ear
    Olive oil is put into the ear.
    Cure for Toothache
    A pinch of salt is put into the tooth.
    Cure for bleeding nose
    Put the person lying on the back and put a damp cloth on the bridge of the nose.
    Cure for Tetters
    Some people make cures for a skin disease like ringworm, called tetters. People take the disease from calves. Jim Doyle of Moher in the parish of Murroe makes this cure yet. He has cured many people.
    Cure for Sore Leg
    The cure was to bathe the cut in hot water, put on iodine and cover with clean linen.
