A Chuisle ghil mo chroidhe.This was composed by "Doheny" he was one of the Fenians who fled one night with others, as the soldiers were on their track. They spent a night in the Keeper Mountains, and there he composed the poem. He lived in Old Pallas. The house is now knocked, but a new one is built on the same spot and it is occupied by Mr. Hugh Hayes, Old Pallas, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick.
