  1. Roubles Well
There is a healing well in the locality known as Rouble's Well. It gets its name from the Rouble family who lived near it long ago. The house is now occupied by the McCarthy family.
The Well is situated in a hollow surrounded by bushes and covered by a flat stone. The water is supposed to cure internal diseases and the neighbouring people can vouch for its efficacy. Certain rules must be observed before the cure is effected. The person must not speak going to or coming from the well, and the vessel must not be changed from one hand to the other.
