  1. Once there was a boy whose mother had died and whose father had married again. His mother was buried in a vault near hand. The boy's step mother only gave him to eat the hard crusts from the table. Each day he used to go down to the vault in which his mother was laid to pray for her. One day as he went to the vault he found the body exposed. He bent down to kiss it but as he did he was clasped by the arms of the corpse and held until he died. For a while afterwards the bodies could not be separated.
