- This story happened in this parish about 70 years ago. At that time there lived a man who was very fond of card-playing.
It so happened that he was passing a graveyard near a a cross-road on his return home one night, when he saw a crowd of men and women of the locality whom he knew had died many years before, dancing at the cross-roads.
He returned home in great fear to find that the rest of the house-hold had retired. You can rest assured that he never remained out late after that.- Collector
