    about a quarter of a mile from Ballincor Cross. At the same time there was a wicked Protestant living near the place called Walker. He got to know the time that the priest would be saying Mass and he informed the yeomanry. Those yeomanry caught sight of the priest unknown to him.There was no time for escape. They gave him an unmercifull beating of which subsequently he died. In recent years a curate of this parish called Father Spain got the Mass rock removed to Lorrha Catholic Church. It is to be seen there to the present day."
